ABOUT DR. FIALA


Dr. Fiala graduated from the University of Washington School of Medicine in 1991. 


Out of a class of 175 graduates, she was awarded the Georgiana Kirby award, presented to the graduate who has “demonstrated outstanding dedication to his/her  studies and clinical work, and has shown the compassion for patients that is embodied in the ideal physician.”


Dr. Fiala completed her residency training at Tacoma Family Medicine in 1994, which is a satellite University of Washington Residency Program.  She served as chief resident during her final year, selected by a vote of faculty and fellow-residents.


Dr. Fiala is board-certified in her specialty, and is a member of the American Academy of Family Practice.
